If you’ve been following our Facebook page, you’ll know that every month Nextdore makes a $500 donation to a charity or non-profit organisation, nominated by one of our team.
As the year draws to a close, we thought we’d share more information about the fantastic organisations our team have chosen to support in 2024. If you’re looking for a Kiwi charity or non-profit to support this festive season, this is a great place to start.
Kiwi Christmas Books
Kiwi Christmas Books have donated more than 43,000 brand-new books to children and families across New Zealand. They can be supported with a book donation, a financial donation, or by purchasing a Christmas card online. Each card you buy funds a book for a child in your town!
Why we chose to support this organisation:
“They donate books to children and families all around New Zealand; for many kids, it is their first book ever, and for some, it is their first-ever Christmas present. They know that great books help to raise great kids.” - Natasha Wright, Nextdore designer.
