Whether you’re building a new home or breathing new life into an existing one, beginning the interior design process can feel a little daunting! We believe your interior design experience should be enjoyable and stress-free, and we’ll work with you to make sure you love your new space.
Here's what you can look forward to when you work with a Nextdore designer.
Before we meet, we'll send you a pre-consultation email with a link to our style quiz, and some suggestions for what to bring on the day and what to consider in advance. This helps us understand your preferences and get an idea of what is in your dream space.
If you can, create a Pinterest board or mood board with images that resonate with you. If you're not sure where to begin, bring your floor plan along, and we'll work from there.
During your initial consultation, we’ll ask about your planned project, how you use your space, your budget, and your overall goals. We’ll explore our showroom, where you can discover an array of decor, tiles, wallpaper, and carpet that might catch your eye and provide a starting point for your design.

Once we have a clear direction and understand what you’d like to achieve, your designer will create a flat lay presentation and invite you back to the showroom to see a curated selection of products that complement your vision. We’ll present this alongside your floor plan and discuss the overall flow of your home.
This process is collaborative, so feel free to ask questions and request changes! Once the design is finalised, we’ll work with our suppliers and installers to ensure a smooth and stress-free installation.
Once your installation is complete, we love seeing the finished product. Our designers may request to visit your completed space to capture professional photos and showcase your project on the Nextdore website.
